Product Description The Accusplit Survivor A601X Stopwatch is the best value PE stopwatch on the market. With the exclusive Accusplit 'X' case design and the million-cycle switch buttons, this is the most durable and popular stopwatch for basic timing needs. The million-cycle no-fail switches are an Accusplit exclusive and are ergonomically designed for maximum performance and ease of use. They snap instead of beep and have been tested for over a million cycles without failure. The A601X operates on the Watch Company Operating System (WOS 2.5) used by most watch manufacturers, which employs a two-button system. The right button is used for start and stop, the left for split and release. The A601X stopwatch features cumulative-split timing. The cumulative (CUM) time is the capture of elapsed time to current event and consists of all splits beginning to end. The split time is the interval of time measured from the start of the timing to the next pause of time. The A601X also features the one-button start-split-split system where the first split is first place, the second split is second place, and it shows a one-two fast finish. This stopwatch is available in five solid and translucent ring colors, has a 1.5-year battery life, and has a magnum extra-large digital display for exceptionally easy reading. The A601X is water resistant up to 30-meters and includes time, date, and alarm functions, making it a great low-cost stopwatch for basic timing needs.

Excellent EOU, very good value May 13, 2007 Dave B. Fujii (Boise, ID USA) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
I used this Accusplit Pro Survivor stopwatch for much of the track season (coaching Jr. High track). The ease of use was excellent. I really liked the tactal feedback of the buttons -- no doubt when they are pushed. The buttons are warranted for 5 years, and the device is "date coded" so that no receipt is neccessary if you do need to get it fixed.
The display is easy to read, even for my old eyes.
Fantastic Stopwatch January 12, 2008 Jenn (Boston, MA United States) 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
One thing only mentioned briefly in the description - this watch does NOT make a beeping noise when you hit the buttons. It makes a sort of dull click. For those of us looking to use a stopwatch in a quiet environment and an unobtrusive way (I'm a stage manager) this is FANTASTIC.
*Edit - after 8 months of use the clock on the stopwatch is unreliable. I have had to reset it about once every two months - it very slowly gets fast.
Serviceable... January 13, 2009 R. M. Zielinski 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not much you can elaborate on about a stopwatch, but this one does the job.
Numbers are big, bold, and very clear to read; the bright yellow color really does stand out, as well.
Very easy to use, and seems to be extremely durable.
Stopwatch for boating use May 26, 2009 Jack H. Margolis (PAX River MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this stopwatch for use while on safety patrols with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. We have to time legs for navigation and search patterns for our Search and Rescue mission. Also, since we are not allowed to wear wrist watches or any other jewelry while on patrols for safety reasons, and due to the vibrations and motion of our boats, especially in rough waters, making hard to read a watch, I find that the large numerical display and simplicity of the function buttons, make it a very useful tool for our patrols. Plus with the lanyard I can hang it around my neck and tuck into my life vest.
The only negative was that it took me a while to figure out how to set the time due to lack of instructions and that it is not intuitive.
Great basic timer October 17, 2009 D. Montague (Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this for timing speeches in my public speaking class. It is incredibly easy to run and the readout is large and clear. It is durable so when my students take turns being the time keeper, it doesn't matter if the stopwatch falls on the floor or gets banged around. For my needs, this fits the bill.
